History
Tangany was founded in September 2018 by Alexey Utin, Christopher Zapf, Hans Nickel, Martin Kreitmair. The project was borne out of EXIST, a start-up programme supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economics. In October 2021, Tangany obtained a German Crypto Custody License and Tangany is now a fully regulated and licensed operator of crypto custody services.

Despite the wide range of its services, Tangany is run by a small team managed by Martin Kreitmar, their CEO.
