Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and organized books for individuals and closely held businesses
- Track investment activity for traditional, alternative, and private investments
- Review and prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports
- Support the preparation of annual local, state, and federal returns
- Read and interpret various operating agreements, loan documents, trust agreements, and other related legal documents
- Lead complex ad hoc projects including financial modeling, projections, and analysis
- Management of major asset transactions, asset purchase/sales, and financing events
- Insurance review and oversight with property & casualty insurance brokers
- Provide ongoing education and training of others
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related major or equivalent work experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with high-net-worth clientele in an accounting or family office function required
- Experience with mentorship and training of junior staff or team members required
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously with a focus on high-touch service
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task effectively, and maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Pay: $70,000 – $110,000 a year
