Job Description:

  • As a Family Office Accountant, you will play an essential role in supporting the financial and accounting functions of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
  • End-to-end bookkeeping and maintenance of records for various family entities and individuals.
  • Coordinate with external CPA firms on intricate tax submissions and quarterly planning efforts.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and submission of annual informational forms
  • Develop annual budgets, projections, and financial reports for family-owned businesses.
  • Assist in estate planning and financial management by reviewing documents, supporting transactions, and maintaining records.
  • Liaise with investment advisors, attorneys, and third-party providers for individual family transactions.

Requirements:

  • A CPA in good standing or equivalent experience in a similar environment
  • 5+ years in full cycle accounting experience within an Accounting Firm and experienced with:
  • Small and midsized business files performing Review Engagements and Notice to Reader
  • Coordinate with external CPA firms on intricate tax submissions and quarterly planning efforts.
  • Support the personal and corporate tax returns as well as any submission of annual informational forms
  • Driven and capable of working autonomously with minimal day-to-day oversight
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Organized, analytical and detail-oriented
