- As a Senior Family Office Accountant, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and tax planning for both our clients and their enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax filings.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements tailored to the family office’s unique needs.
- Manage tax planning and compliance, ensuring timely preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns in coordination with external tax advisors.
- Provide cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support the family’s financial planning.
- Coordinate with investment managers to ensure accurate reporting of investment portfolios.
- Manage entity structures (trusts, partnerships, LLCs), ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Oversee risk management processes, including insurance, legal, and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with the family’s advisors to optimize wealth planning and estate strategies.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all matters related to the family’s financial and personal affairs.
- Mentor and manage junior staff, if applicable, to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a firm providing business accounting, tax services, and business/investment analysis. Private Family Office experience is a plus.
- A CPA license is a plus.
- Expertise in accounting systems, budgeting, and financial modeling, with a strong emphasis on proficiency in Microsoft
- Excel and QuickBooks Online.
- Knowledge of tax laws, estate planning, and financial reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with family members, advisors, and external partners.
Pay: $71.7K – $90.7K a year
