Accountant – Family Office

Running the gears of the company! In your role, you would report to the Family Office Accounting Manager and join a great team of Accounting stars who track the numbers, watch the details and keep it all moving. You will perform monthly bank and investment reconciliations for assigned trusts, private companies and individuals.
You are qualified and will thrive in this role if you:
- Have 2+ years of accounting experience
- You’re a specialist in accounting, ready to add your insight and experience to our smooth-running machine.
- You are comfortable with analyzing data to make informed conclusions.
- You can prioritize competing tasks and apply keen judgment
- You have a willingness to learn new software
- Have solid skills with MS Excel
Some of your duties will include:
- Posting monthly income, contributions, distributions & monthly interest accruals on notes
- Providing information to owners and officers, while preparing various ad-hoc analysis and reports
- Entering invoices and processing checks weekly and preparing and reviewing a weekly cash report
- Preparing quarterly professional/administration fees
- Assisting with quarterly & year-end financial statement preparation
- Assisting with preparation of cash flow forecasts
- Making deposits and staying up-to-date with filing
- An Accounting or similar 4-year degree is preferred, along with experience on an accounting team. Experience with Quickbooks is a big plus.
