Position Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process for our high-net-worth family, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing Efficiently and accurately process invoices for payment, verifying accuracy, and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Vendor Management Maintain strong relationships with vendors, promptly resolving any inquiries or discrepancies.
- Payment Processing Coordinate and execute payments via various methods, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH transactions, ensuring adherence to payment schedules and terms.
- Expense Reporting Reconcile corporate credit card statements and process employee expense reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Financial Recordkeeping Maintain organized and accurate records of accounts payable transactions, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and archived.
- Compliance Stay abreast of relevant accounting regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
- Reporting Prepare regular reports detailing accounts payable activities, providing insights to support financial decision-making.
- Process Improvement Continuously identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes, improve efficiency, and enhance internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high net worth family office or similar environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Discretion and ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial information.
Pay: $70,000 – $110,000 a year
