- Abacus Capital is an asset management and advisory group headquartered in Singapore; we seek an experienced, efficient, and reliable individual to support our multi-family office platform, reporting to the Director, of Family Office Funds.
- Job Title: Multi-Family Office Business Development & Support Executive
- We are seeking a highly energetic and organized business development and support professional to join our team to support the growth of our multi-family office business.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent organization and communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both within a team environment and to take independent initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Research, develop, and manage an extensive international network of business partners and plan prospecting activities to help identify new business opportunities to drive client growth
- Draft company and client presentations, industry-relevant articles, and research reports
- Support client relationship management, including client due diligence and onboarding, documentation and reporting, and ongoing support
Investment:
- Research and analyze companies, individual securities, investment asset classes, industries, and market and economic trends, and prepare relevant reports
- Monitor the performance of existing and proposed investments and prepare or review periodic investor reports
- Participate in client portfolio construction
Candidate Qualities & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the finance industry, including business development and/or investment management
- Degree in business, finance, or a related field, with knowledge of fund management, investments, and finance
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proactively anticipate, troubleshoot, overcome, and/or escalate client and product needs/issues
- Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others
- High sense of urgency and good time management to prioritize tasks
- This position is open only to candidates who are currently eligible to work in Singapore.
