General Description: Growing family office based in NYC and Greenwich, CT with multiple business locations is seeking a family assistant who can provide childcare, organize the household and assist parents with basic chores and errands.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 50% of role will be caring for the 3 children (ages 5, 11, and 12) and 50% will be assisting with events, dinner, service, etc.
  • Engage in tasks that support the proper functioning of a family’s personal life, including children’s schedules, travel, and activities, among other categories.
  • Assist with dinner service and clean up daily
  • Arrange travel including flights, ground transportation, lodging, dining, and other activities.
  • Help to coordinate functions, events, and other activities.
  • Engage in the completion of school, camp, healthcare, special programming forms
  • School pick up/drop off
  • Run errands for the family
  • Keep the home organized and neat
  • Assist with administrative duties: scheduling appointments, planning travel arrangements, checking emails, answering and making phone calls.
  • Take care of household upkeep and maintenance.
  • Complete the family’s grocery shopping or personal shopping
  • Make appointments
  • Pay bills
  • Assist with events
  • Any other duties assigned.

Skills & Requirements

  • Must be adaptable, organized, detail-oriented, personable, discreet, problem solver, multi-tasker and works well under pressure.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as family assistant.
  • Flexibility to stay late and overnights as needed
  • Travel with the family is required
  • Comfortable around dogs
