Full Job Description

  • Balentine is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager (RM) within our Multi-Family Office team to play a pivotal role in managing and expanding relationships with our ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.
  • The Senior RM will provide comprehensive wealth management services, ranging from investment strategy, estate planning, and tax optimization to philanthropy and family governance.
  • More than just a financial advisor, the Relationship Manager is a trusted partner, offering strategic insight into both the family business and the family itself.
  • The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of family office services and a proactive approach to client needs, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of our holistic wealth management services.

Responsibilities:

  • We expect this person to, with training, perform the following responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for UHNW clients, building deep and enduring relationships with family members across generations.
  • Wealth Management Expertise: Provide personalized financial advice and services, including investment management, estate planning, tax strategies, and philanthropy, tailored to the unique needs of UHNW individuals and families.
  • Family Governance: Assist clients with the complexities of family governance, supporting the development of effective decision-making structures, succession planning, and education for next-generation family members.
  • Cross-disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with internal specialists and external advisors (attorneys, accountants, etc.) to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Client Service Excellence: Ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction by offering proactive, responsive, and anticipatory service, regularly reviewing and enhancing financial plans in alignment with clients’ evolving needs.
  • Growth & Business Development: Contribute to Balentine’s growth by identifying opportunities to deepen existing relationships and attract new UHNW clients through networking, referrals, and industry thought leadership.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or a related field, specifically serving ultra-high-net-worth clients with complex needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Professional designations such as CFA, CFP, CPA, JD, or equivalent credentials are strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in comprehensive wealth management, including investment strategies, tax optimization, estate planning, and philanthropy.
  • Strong understanding of multigenerational wealth management, family governance, and succession planning.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with a proven track record of delivering personalized client service.
  • Experience in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve client goals.

Pay: $143K – $181K a year
