Role Overview – Vice President, Family Office Relationships
- We seek a seasoned professional to spearhead Artha’s outreach to family offices, HNIs (High-Net-Worth Individuals), and wealth management firms. The VP of Family Office Relationships will be crucial in sourcing new investors, deepening engagement with existing ones, and securing capital commitments for Artha’s funds. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, excellent networking skills, and a demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships.
- The successful candidate will understand the intricacies of family offices, particularly how to cold-call, cultivate relationships, and communicate the unique value propositions of Artha’s funds. You will be a trusted advisor to investors, helping them navigate our investment offerings to align with their goals.
- Key Responsibilities
- Investor Outreach: Identify, cultivate, and maintain strategic relationships with family offices, HNIs, and boutique wealth management firms to secure capital for Artha’s funds. Fundraising Initiatives: Develop and implement a targeted fundraising strategy that aligns with family offices’ specific needs and investment objectives, ensuring Artha is their preferred partner. Cold Calling & Relationship Building: Leverage your network and initiate cold calls to onboard new investors, regularly following up to sustain interest and engagement.
- Presentation & Communication: Create compelling pitch decks, presentations, and reports that effectively communicate Artha’s investment strategies, past performance, and future growth potential. Market Trends & Insights: Stay informed about market trends, regulations, and economic conditions to identify new opportunities for raising capital and positioning Artha as a leader in the space. Investor Relations: Manage investor relationships post-commitment, ensuring consistent communication, reporting, and support, including quarterly performance updates and insights on new investment opportunities. Team Leadership: Eventually lead a team of junior relationship managers as the role expands, coaching and developing them to effectively manage investor relationships. Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 2-5 years in a fundraising or investor relations role within private wealth management, family office engagement, or boutique financial services. Wealth Management Expertise: Proven experience in dealing with family offices, UHNWIs, or boutique wealth firms, with strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
- Cold Calling Skills: Demonstrated success in initiating cold outreach and converting leads into long-term investors. Financial Acumen: It is essential to understand private equity, venture capital, and alternative investment strategies and to be familiar with AIFs. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, Pipedrive) and marketing automation tools (Klenty) for managing investor pipelines and engagement strategies. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for presenting to high-profile audiences and crafting tailored pitches.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Business, or related fields. CFA certification is a plus. Compensation & BenefitsAnnual CTC: ₹21 lakhs (₹18 lakhs disbursed monthly + ₹3 lakhs at the end of the year). Incentives: A substantial success fee package linked to capital raised. Carried Interest & Performance Bonus: Involvement in carry and performance-related bonuses after the first 12 months with Artha. ESOP Eligibility: Eligible to participate in the ESOP pool after a year in the position.
