Primary Responsibilities

  • Identifying potential investment opportunities, primarily in venture, growth-stage private equity, and occasionally in buy-out co-investments
  • Conducting detailed due diligence and assessing the financial viability, risk, and return profiles of target companies within the broader portfolio strategy
  • Assisting the Head of Private Equity in evaluating opportunities, making investment recommendations, and determining whether to proceed with transactions
  • Managing and overseeing existing global investments, monitoring company performance, reviewing quarterly reports, and providing strategic guidance to portfolio companies.
  • Contributing to internal fundraising efforts, including preparing investor presentations, maintaining investor relationships, and supporting the closure of new funds
  • Plan and execute exit strategies, such as secondary market, initial public offerings (IPOs), or M&A, to realise value for investors.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a Big 4 firm, with a proven track record of successful deal execution and portfolio management
  • Demonstrated commitment to building a long-term career in private equity
    Strong knowledge of the US investment landscape, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry dynamics
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or related fields, showcasing excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to evaluate complex financial data and make sound investment decisions in line with the firm’s strategic vision
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with General
  • Partners (GPs), senior management, portfolio companies, and clients
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is required, with Cantonese as a bonus
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards
