  • We have been retained by an independent RIA seeking a Wealth Advisor for their office in Austin, TX.
  • This fast-growing, independent firm is rapidly gaining national recognition and prestige as a leading MFO/RIA for people of significant wealth.
  • They have a platform and business model for the HNW/UHNW client segment that allows for customized solutions for the entire family enterprise.
  • The firm provides an encompassing, holistic scope of family office services for HNW/UHNW clients.
  • Services include investment management (including private investments), comprehensive planning including estate, tax, and legacy, philanthropy and private foundation services, financial management, trust and fiduciary services, governance, and state-of-the-industry multi-generational education offerings.
  • The wealth advisor will be part of a dynamic and collaborative client-focused culture.
  • Business development and client relationship management are the key focuses.
  • Candidates should have a demonstrated record of successfully managing relationships with clients of significant wealth, and the proven ability to win new client business.
  • It is highly preferred that he or she have an area of subject expertise relevant to UHNW family client delivery (investment management, planning, trust, tax, etc.).
  • The wealth advisor will be part of a talented team with deep expertise in the HNW/UHNW private client segment so the candidate must be a seamless cultural fit in a collaborative and collegial culture.
  • The wealth advisor will be responsible for providing a high level of service to clientele and there is a high ceiling for leadership and growth in this fast-growing and well-capitalized independent firm.

The successful candidate should be able to:

  • Understand and apply solutions to complex financial issues as well as complex family dynamics and can collaborate with the firm’s resources for family office services when needed.
  • Being “coachable” is a favorable attribute of this firm’s culture.


  • BA required; prefer graduate or professional studies; CFP, CFA, CPA, JD, MBA, etc.
  • Minimum 7-12 years of wealth advisory to HNW/UHNW family clients
  • Have clients or an established COI network, and the ability to develop new business
  • Demonstrated knowledge of solutions across wealth management disciplines
