Guy holds a Bachelor of Business Science Honours degree with a specialisation in Law & Economics from the University of Cape Town, in addition to other post-graduate specialist education. He spent the first part of his career working in structured finance and wealth management, holding positions at JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Investec Bank Mauritius, and most recently a senior management position for Nedbank International. During this time he focused on providing specialist cross-border structuring, infrastructure lending, risk and asset management, for both corporate and private clients. He has served as a director of a Mauritian-listed fund, as well as various other entities, including sustainability initiatives. For the past four years, Guy was Chief Operating officer, and shareholder, in the largest craft brewer in South Africa, and assisted in the successful sale of a stake to Heineken in 2018. Guy has recently been a graduate school guest panellist, and a judge of an international young entrepreneur award.
