A senior Asia Investment Director for a well-capitalised single family office's Hong Kong office, shaping the family's Asia investment strategy (with a Greater China focus) across public and private markets, working with the CIO and US-based investment team.
Our client is a well-capitalised single family office seeking an experienced Asia Investment Director to join its Hong Kong office. This is a senior investment leadership role offering the opportunity to help shape the family's investment strategy across Asia, with a particular focus on Greater China. Working closely with the Chief Investment Officer and the US-based investment team, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, leading comprehensive investment and manager due diligence, developing investment theses, presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders, and overseeing a dedicated Asia-focused portfolio. The investment mandate spans both public and private markets across multiple asset classes, including hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, private credit and real assets.
The ideal candidate will possess approximately 15+ years of relevant investment experience, a well-established network within the Asian investment community, strong investment research and analytical capabilities, exceptional writing and communication skills, and the ability to operate independently within a lean, entrepreneurial family office environment. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
