Managing Director / Head of Family Office, Single Family Office, Cairo

A Cairo-based single family office seeks a Managing Director / Head of Family Office to own the overall strategic direction, leadership and operational management of the organisation across global markets. A top-of-house mandate spanning strategy, direct private equity (with a manufacturing focus), operations, financial management, global team leadership and governance, reporting to the Board.

The Managing Director is responsible for the overall strategic direction, leadership, and operational management of the organisation across global markets, ensuring financial and growth objectives are met while maintaining values and international compliance standards.

Strategic leadership - Develop and implement global strategy aligned with Board vision. - Identify growth opportunities in existing and emerging markets. - Lead long-term planning and innovation initiatives.

Stakeholder and next-generation engagement - Represent the organisation to investors, regulators, partners, and the public. - Maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and governments. - Communicate with the Board on performance and strategy. - Foster next-generation engagement through education and mentorship.

Investments - Review strategic asset allocation and execute investment strategy for diversified portfolios. - Oversee portfolio construction and risk-adjusted returns. - Manage direct private equity investments in manufacturing-focused businesses. - Partner with portfolio company boards on operational improvements. - Monitor financial and operational performance.

Operational oversight - Oversee day-to-day operations across regions and business units. - Ensure operational efficiency and compliance. Financial management - Drive financial performance and shareholder value. - Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation. - Ensure robust financial controls.

Global team leadership - Build high-performing executive teams across geographies. - Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion.
