A newly formed London single family office is hiring a Private Equity Analyst for its investment team, reporting to the Senior Investment Managers and the Principal. The role centres on private-market research, valuations and portfolio reporting: company and sector analysis, quarterly market commentary, monthly equity reports and weekly IPO reports. Suits an analyst with 2–3 years of family office, buy-side private equity or research experience and strong financial-modelling skills.
Key responsibilities include: conducting detailed company and industry research; providing quarterly market commentary by sector and geography; overseeing quarterly valuations; preparing monthly equity portfolio reports; and preparing weekly IPO reports.
Required experience: 2–3 years in a family office, buy-side private equity or research role; strong technical knowledge of private-market analysis; portfolio management experience; an understanding of PE reporting and KPIs; financial-modelling capabilities; and research skills with risk-assessment ability. Family office or UHNW experience is preferred but not essential, alongside strong attention to detail and presentation skills.
