The client seeks an experienced Investment Director to act as a key link between the Principal and the broader investment team. The position involves overseeing private equity investments across asset classes, with emphasis on direct minority positions and consortium participation.

Core responsibilities - Manage end-to-end investment processes from sourcing through exit, focusing on direct minority investments. - Coordinate due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio reporting. - Serve as counterpart to external managers, advisers, and family offices. - Negotiate governance rights, veto provisions, and board representation for minority stakes. - Mentor a Senior Associate. - Handle portfolio monitoring and value-creation initiatives. - Occasional travel for meetings and due diligence.

Requirements - 15-20 years professional experience. - 10-15 years in private equity (lower/middle market) or direct investment within family offices. - Experience structuring minority governance rights and hybrid instruments. - Strong investment judgment and ability to operate independently. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - High integrity and discretion; a 'player-coach' management style.
