We are working with one of the UAE's longest-established single-family offices to appoint a Senior Investment Associate for its investment team - a broad, multi-asset mandate spanning listed markets, private equity, real assets and more.
The opportunity - Permanent, self-funded family capital - a long-term balance sheet, not a fund - More than six decades of heritage within one of the Emirates' founding business groups - Conservatively managed, with low leverage, strong liquidity and a capital-preservation philosophy - Differentiated, often proprietary deal flow through deep government and institutional relationships - A lean, senior team offering direct proximity to decision-makers
The role Supporting the investment team in analysing, monitoring and managing a diversified portfolio across asset classes, the role combines investment analysis, portfolio oversight and operational due diligence, with real input into manager selection, allocation and governance. - Run due diligence and build models across public markets, private equity, venture, hedge funds, credit and real assets - Prepare investment memos, committee materials, quarterly reports and portfolio dashboards - Monitor existing positions and engage with fund managers and company leadership - Support fund operations, legal and compliance, and external manager relationships
Candidate profile - Three to five years in investment management, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or a family office or endowment - Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting; CFA, CAIA or CA an advantage - Strong financial modelling, including LBO, and real estate investment exposure - Track record in fund manager due diligence and selection - Discreet, detail-oriented and effective within a small, high-performing team
