About Leap Dock Leap Dock is a private family office based in London. We exist to make measured financial decisions on behalf of the families we serve. This means we bring capital, ideas and partnerships together before taking the next strategic leap.
We are a confidential, relationship-led office that sits alongside families across generations, helping them navigate the full complexity of their financial lives. Our work spans investment research, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and the quieter disciplines of governance and administration that keep family capital secure.

This involves distilling key findings into clear, actionable summaries. - Support the preparation of investment memos, performance reports, and presentation materials for internal review and family communication. - Maintain and update portfolio dashboards, performance tracking tools, and internal CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency at all times. - Track capital calls, distributions, and commitments across private fund holdings, reconciling records against custodian statements and administrator reports. - Build and maintain financial models, including cash flow forecasts, valuation updates, and scenario analyses. - Liaise with external investment managers, custodians, legal counsel, and auditors to coordinate information flow and ensure timely, accurate reporting. - Assist with governance and administrative tasks that support the smooth running of the office, including document management and compliance record-keeping. - Contribute to ad hoc projects and research initiatives as directed by the Principal or senior team members.
What We Are Looking For - A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline. Candidates from other academic backgrounds with a demonstrable passion for financial markets will also be considered. - Up to two years of experience in investment management, private banking, wealth management, audit, or a related analytical role. Internships and placement years count. - Strong Excel modelling skills and the ability to interpret financial statements, fund documentation, and market data with confidence. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to take complex information and present it clearly and concisely to a senior audience. - A meticulous approach to detail and a genuine respect for accuracy, confidentiality, and process. - Intellectual curiosity, a willingness to learn, and the temperament to work effectively in a small, close-knit team environment. - Familiarity with Bloomberg or similar market data platforms is desirable but not essential.
What We Offer - Direct exposure to the full spectrum of private office activity, from investment research to governance, within a small team where your work will be seen and valued. - A structured development path with mentorship from experienced professionals and opportunities to take on increasing responsibility. - Competitive salary commensurate with experience, alongside a benefits package that includes pension contribution and private medical cover. - A collaborative, low-ego working culture in a central London office.
