CFO / COO, Single Family Office, London

Agreus is recruiting a CFO / COO for a London single-family office to run the family's financial affairs and the day-to-day operation of the office, its estates and its philanthropic activities. The role leads the family office team, oversees reporting, audit, treasury, banking, tax, investment reporting, the art collection, international property and estates, and acts as MLRO.

An exclusive opportunity has arisen within a London-based single-family office who are looking for a CFO / COO to manage the family's financial affairs and the day-to-day running of the family office and its wider operations, including the estates and philanthropic activities. This is a senior role that combines oversight with hands-on delivery, working directly with the principal and external advisers.

Key areas of responsibility: - Act as a trusted adviser to the family across personal, investment and business affairs - Lead financial and operational strategy with external advisers - Oversee financial and management reporting; prepare board reporting; manage annual audit and internal controls - Manage treasury, cash flow, banking and funding across UK and international relationships - Oversee personal and business tax compliance and planning with advisers - Oversee investment reporting across PE, public markets and direct holdings; financial oversight of art collection and rental properties - Oversee estates, philanthropic activities, and international property portfolio - Lead and develop the family office team; oversee HR, payroll and employment matters - Manage external advisers, costs, insurance, IT and cyber security - Act as MLRO; oversee AML, legal/regulatory compliance, company secretarial and risk framework

Profile: - Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with senior finance leadership experience - Experience with UHNW individuals, family-run business or family office - Strong personal and corporate tax literacy; experience leading finance/operations teams - Sound judgement, discretion, excellent communication; able to work autonomously Apply via Agreus quoting REF AGR1150 ([email protected]).
