A leading single family office in the energy and natural resources sector is hiring a Deputy Chief Investment Officer in Ahmedabad. The role develops and implements investment strategy, oversees portfolios to maximise returns while managing risk, leads a team of analysts and investment professionals, and reports to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities include: developing and implementing investment strategies aligned with organisational goals in the energy and natural resources sector; overseeing and managing investment portfolios to maximise returns while mitigating risks; conducting market research and financial analysis to identify growth opportunities; establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and financial institutions; monitoring economic and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations; ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies; leading a team of financial analysts and investment professionals; and preparing and presenting detailed investment reports to senior leadership.
Requirements: a strong educational background in finance, economics or a related field; proven investment-management experience within the energy and natural resources sector; expertise in financial modelling, risk assessment and portfolio management; excellent analytical and decision-making skills; strong leadership qualities; exceptional communication and stakeholder-management abilities; and knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
