Selby Jennings is searching for a Director, Family Office Services for a growing multi-family office in Baltimore to act as lead relationship manager for UHNW families. The role designs family-office service plans and advises on wealth preservation, tax and estate planning, cash-flow management and family governance, while coordinating external advisers, overseeing household finances, entities and trusts, leading complex client projects, mentoring staff and supporting business development.

Responsibilities: - Serve as lead relationship manager for ultra-high-net-worth families - Develop and oversee customized family office service plans - Provide strategic guidance on wealth preservation, tax planning, estate planning, cash-flow management and family governance - Coordinate and manage relationships with attorneys, CPAs, investment advisers, trustees and other external professionals - Review complex personal financial statements, net-worth reports and family-office reporting packages - Oversee household finances, family entities, trusts and special-purpose investment structures - Lead complex client projects (business transitions, liquidity events, estate settlements, philanthropy, real estate) - Identify planning opportunities and proactively address client needs - Mentor and develop managers and junior staff; participate in business development and referral-source management - Help establish best practices, operating procedures and service standards across the platform

Qualifications: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; 10+ years in family office services, private client advisory, wealth management, trust services, tax or public accounting; UHNW client experience; deep understanding of estate/tax planning, trusts and wealth transfer; leadership experience; strong communication and advanced financial analysis; CPA, CFP, CFA, JD or equivalent strongly preferred. Hybrid arrangement.
