External Investment Committee Member (Equities), Single Family Office, Dubai

Agreus is seeking an external Investment Committee member with public equities expertise for the family office of the founders of a large diversified conglomerate in Dubai. The member advises on equity allocation and manager selection, geographic and sector exposure, macro considerations and downside risk, balancing the family's private and alternative holdings.

Our client is a Family Office of the founders of a large and diversified business conglomerate. To enhance Investment Governance they seek a senior Investment Committee member to offer guidance on investment strategy and allocation. The Family Office was set up as an investment vehicle to maximise return on existing and newly generated assets, provide capital preservation, and diversify from risk.

Background & experience: - Experience in global public equity markets, ideally as former CIO, Portfolio Manager, or Head of Equities at a leading asset manager, sovereign wealth fund, or endowment - Expertise in equity research, portfolio construction, risk management, and long-term investment strategy - Direct experience managing developed and emerging market equities across multiple geographies - Strong track record of risk-adjusted returns; understanding of factor investing, active vs passive, and ESG

Personal qualities: - Independent thinker with a fiduciary mindset - High technical credibility; focused on substantive contribution - Collaborative and communicative; able to translate complex equity dynamics for non-professional family members
