An expert-generalist role spanning wealth, investments, real estate and compliance; initially a sole contributor that may expand.
The family office, headquartered in Seattle, seeks a General Counsel to support a successful technology entrepreneur and their family. The role involves developing the legal infrastructure for a newly established family office managing significant first-generation wealth across multiple generations. The position reports to the Principals and CEO.
Key responsibilities include: collaborating with the Principals and CEO on infrastructure development; providing legal oversight of the Principals' activities; real estate acquisition oversight and contract negotiation; transaction due diligence for strategic partnerships; estate planning compliance and coordination; and ad hoc legal counsel and contract review.
The position requires an expert generalist with strong legal acumen who can serve as a trusted advisor while managing multiple complex areas spanning wealth management, investments, real estate, and compliance.
