Investment Analyst (Public Markets), Private Investment Group, Dubai

A well-established private international investment group is hiring an Investment Analyst for its Dubai public-markets team, with direct exposure to senior investors and growing exposure to firm leadership. The team runs a top-down, macro-driven approach focused on public equities (particularly technology and financial services). The role spans idea generation, fundamental analysis and valuation, macro research, earnings coverage, on-the-ground research, written recommendations and deal-sourcing support. Requires around 3–4 years in investment research, asset management, equity capital markets or investment banking. The employer is a private investment group, family-office-adjacent rather than an in-house single family office.

Key responsibilities include: generating investment ideas across global markets using a top-down methodology; conducting fundamental analysis and company valuation; undertaking macro research on countries, sectors and themes, focusing on major trends, technology, fintech and emerging sectors; reporting on portfolio-company earnings and corporate actions; performing on-the-ground research; producing investment recommendations and written reports; building and maintaining relationships within the investment community; and collaborating on deal sourcing and execution across trading and private markets.

Candidate requirements: a degree from a leading academic institution; typically 3–4 years' experience in investment research, asset management, equity capital markets, investment banking or a related field; excellent written and spoken English; strong relational skills and a polished, professional communication style; a genuine passion for financial markets and business; proven execution and delivery capability; and the ability to work at pace across multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail.
