Alex Simpson

Alex Simpson is a fintech founder, investor and advisor based in New York, with a career spent building financial technology platforms that help people and businesses transact more easily and manage their money more effectively. He is currently CEO & Co-Founder of LiquidLP, and is also known for OpenStock, a platform that helps unlock liquidity for private credit, private equity and real estate fund investors without requiring them to sell their positions.

Earlier in his career, Alex co-founded and served as a Non-Executive at BizPay, and has a track record of creating and executing growth and turnaround strategies for global fintech companies, producing seven-figure monthly revenue growth while helping bring several businesses to a successful exit.

With more than a decade of experience in B2B fintech, Alex specialises in advising and scaling early-stage companies and has built a strong network across the pre-IPO and late-stage private markets, where he continues to serve as an advisor and investor to fintech founders. He studied at the University of the Witwatersrand.
