Johny Mair is Co-Founder of Ethic, a technology platform and sustainable asset manager focused on mainstreaming sustainable investing. Raised in Australia, he has spent his career building technology products across three continents, leading product teams at Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, BlackRock, Fidelity, Guy Carpenter and Goldman Sachs, as well as at a number of high-growth startups.
Prior to co-founding Ethic in 2016, Johny held product roles at ImageBrief, a B2B marketplace connecting brands and photographers, and at Sapient, where he worked on innovation and growth solutions for capital and commodity markets clients. He also worked in student loan refinancing at Credible and co-founded the startup Collector's Edition.
At Ethic, Johny is responsible for strategy, product and governance, helping the firm move billions of dollars into sustainable investment strategies and giving investors the ability to make their portfolios a precise reflection of their values. He holds a degree in technology from Queensland University of Technology.
