Michael started as a Family Office Investor at Soros Fund Management, for George, Stan Druckenmiller and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who taught and inspired him. Since then, he has invested on behalf of families at Man/FRM, Protege Partners, where he was Chief Investment Officer, First Republic and most recently for single FOs. He has run some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated alternative portfolios.
He enjoys thought leadership and has taught Alternative and Family Office Investing at Columbia Business School for the past 13 years. He has also written chapters in FO books and spoken at the world’s leading conferences on FO investing.
