Ronnie S. Stangler, M.D., is a physician and board-certified psychiatrist, based in New York City. She has served for over a decade as Chief Medical Officer to an international family office in London and Liechtenstein.

Dr. Stangler helps families of wealth and their advisors successfully navigate the science of genomics. She partners with global families, family offices and enterprise, as well as financial, legal and other trusted advisors, to translate this new disruptive science into clear and relevant terms. She helps clients determine what action is necessary today and how to plan for tomorrow. Always foremost is mitigation of risk.

Ethical, social, legal, privacy, moral and behavioral quandaries related to the use of genomics are unprecedented. Dr. Stangler assists clients in honoring their personal values and culture as they face these abundant challenges.

Dr. Stangler is Clinical Professor of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington and Advisor to the Department of Genetics, Harvard Medical School, where she consults for the Personal Genetics Education Project (pgEd).
