History
Founded in 2017, Sygnum was rooted from the start in the financial hubs of Switzerland and Singapore. From there, Sygnum grew to be the first digital asset specialist with both a Swiss banking licence and a Singapore asset management licence. They harness the power of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) to systematically and holistically embed digital assets into regulated banking.

Sygnum has its headquarters in Zurich and is run by a small team managed by Mathias Imbach, Group CEO of the bank.
