The Opportunity
We are seeking an Accountant to join our Family Office in Upland, CA. Reporting to the Family Office Accounting Supervisor, this individual will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of various trusts, private entities, and individuals. The role requires a high degree of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality while handling core bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting for the company’s owners and senior executives.

Upland, CA (on-site, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
Reports to
Family Office Accounting Supervisor
The Position
Key Responsibilities

Post monthly income, contributions, distributions, and interest accruals on notes.

Process incoming invoices and issue weekly checks.

Prepare and present weekly cash reports.

Make deposits and maintain organized financial filing systems.

Prepare quarterly professional and administrative fee reports.

Assist with quarterly and year-end financial statements.

Support cash flow forecasting activities.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications

Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience strongly preferred.

Proficiency in Excel (intermediate or higher).

Experience with QuickBooks required.

Solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger activity.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively with sound judgment.

Proactive, personable, and collaborative team player with initiative and eagerness to learn.
Compensation
-
Pay: $30–$36 per hour, depending on experience.
