The Opportunity
We are seeking a Family Office Accountant to join our rapidly growing wealth management practice. This role will support the accounting and reporting needs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, including accomplished executives, elite athletes, and entertainers. The Family Office Accountant will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive financial records, preparing reports, and handling day-to-day accounting operations for select clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to expand hands-on experience in family office and wealth management services.

The Position
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and execute all accounting functions necessary to report on the financial position of ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Manage day-to-day accounts payable functions including vendor management, invoice entry, and preparation of wire transfers for approval.

Prepare cash flow plans for clients, including budgeting and forecasting.

Produce timely and accurate financial reports and analyses.

Perform ad hoc financial analyses and support special projects as required.

Maintain client household payroll.

Develop strong working relationships with internal service team members to ensure seamless delivery of client service.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

CPA eligible and motivated to pursue licensure.

1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounts payable, preferably within a CPA firm or financial services firm.

Family office or wealth management industry experience a plus.

Knowledge of QuickBooks required.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow through on direction, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
-
Base Salary Range: $65,000 – $91,000 (commensurate with experience, credentials, education, and geographic location).
