Responsibilities:

We are looking for an Assistant Account Manager to join our Advisory Department. As an Assistant Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for Bill Pay functions
  • Enter cash receipts and maintain commission/payment schedules
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Post/download and analyze credit card activity for proper coding
  • Book payroll from outside payroll provider records with guidance from Account Manager
  • Making Address changes
  • Communicate with vendor and resolve any vendor issues
  • Communicate with all members of the internal engagement team
  • Post investment activity to accounting software
  • Prepare 1099’s with guidance from Account Manager
  • Assist in gathering year-end tax package documents
  • Maintain electronic filing system & coordinate/organize administrative requirements (filing, scanning, shredding, etc.)
  • Administrative Duties- Filing, shredding, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business (Accounting, Finance, Business Management)
  • Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and shift focus as needed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Multi-tasker
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks and/or Datafaction a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
