Website Ark Financial

At Ark Financial, we offer more than just a job—we provide a purpose-driven career that empowers you to create meaningful impact for our clients, your team, and your future. Joining our team isn’t just a career move; it’s an opportunity to be part of something transformative.

Associate Family Office Director

The Client

Ark Financial isn’t building just another financial firm — we’re building a movement.
Our vision: that one day every entrepreneurial family will have a Family Office — a system of stewardship empowering generational Protection, Peace, and Purpose. Through our Family Office and Academy divisions, we help families lead their financial lives with clarity and conviction.

At Ark, we believe entrepreneurial families deserve transformation, not just transactions. That’s why we created the Family Office Operating System (FOOS) and why we are hiring Associate Family Office Directors — high-capacity leaders ready to steward complexity, multiply impact, and grow into full operators.

This is your first leadership post — not a shadowing role, but a seat at the table to lead real systems, manage deliverables, and coach entrepreneurial families from day one. You will be personally mentored by a Senior Family Office Director, and for this next hiring class, receive direct coaching from our Founder & CEO. Because at Ark, we’re not just filling roles — we’re building our next generation of leaders.

The Opportunity

This position offers a unique opportunity for driven, strategic, and relational professionals to accelerate their leadership journey in family office advisory. You will own operational and relational execution, deliver clarity and momentum to entrepreneurial families, and help shape the systems that empower generational stewardship. The role combines financial acumen, coaching, and operational leadership — all inside an organization built to mentor and multiply next-generation leaders.

Senior Family Office Director

The Position

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate financial engines: Own and run cash flow systems, track net worth, and execute Ark’s FOOS playbook for entrepreneurial families.

  • Drive outcomes: Accelerate deliverables, streamline decisions, and create visible momentum for both families and senior leaders.

  • Coach with depth: Help early-stage entrepreneurs make confident, long-term decisions grounded in stewardship and clarity.

  • Lead through leverage: Manage operational and relational details that free Ark’s senior leaders to expand their impact.

  • Shape culture and systems: Set tone, build trust, and reinforce Ark’s standard of clarity, urgency, and care through every action you take.

Why This Role Exists

Ark believes every family should have a Family Office — but that’s only possible if we build leaders ready to run them. This role is designed to give high-capacity professionals the mentorship, responsibility, and challenge needed to lead early and multiply impact — without waiting a decade to be trusted with real outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

Who You Are

  • Lead through clarity, ownership, and speed.

  • Strategic, curious, and relationally wise.

  • Thrive when given responsibility — not just a to-do list.

  • Seek stretch, feedback, and stakes — not comfort.

  • Driven by calling, not just career.

What You Bring

  • 3–10 years of experience in financial services, consulting, coaching, or high-touch advisory.

  • Proven track record of owning complex deliverables and leading outcomes.

  • Familiarity with — or rapid mastery of — tax, estate, cash flow, entity, and investment basics.

  • Relational presence and the ability to lead a room and coach founders.

  • Strong operational instincts: systems thinking paired with disciplined follow-through.

  • Bonus: business development mindset to build and galvanize (note: this is not a sales role).

Why This Role Is Hard

  • You’ll be expected to lead before having the formal title.

  • You’ll navigate real complexity, tight timelines, and client-level consequences.

  • Growth comes through feedback, accountability, and stretch goals.

  • You’ll often be in rooms where you’re not the smartest person — and you’ll grow sharper because of it.

Growth Path

This isn’t a slow corporate ladder climb. For the right leaders, we expect full Family Office ownership within 1–3 years, and the opportunity to become a Partner within 5–7 years or less.

Typical Path:
Associate Director → Senior Director → Partner

Some may also shape new tracks in coaching, curriculum, or systems. At Ark, we build roles around calling and capacity — not corporate templates.

Compensation

Year 1$70K–$150K
Year 2$100K–$225K
Year 3$130K–$300K+

An industry-competitive benefits package will also be offered.
