Full Job Description

  • We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Bookkeeper.
  • This role will focus on managing the financial records and bookkeeping tasks for our office.
  • The ideal candidate will have accounting skills and be proficient in using Outlook, QuickBooks, Excel, and Chrome.
  • While a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, it is not required.
  • Ideally, candidates should reside close to the office with the expectation of working in the office daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks within QuickBooks, including accounts payable.
  • Use Excel to manage monthly expense reports and electronic documentation of support for expenses.
  • Communicate with others in and outside the office by phone and email.
  • Keep office information confidential.
  • When possible, assist with tasks such as reconciliations, cash flow management, financial statement preparation, and other tasks as needed.


  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Outlook, Excel, and Chrome.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience working in an office environment.
  • Residing close to Greensboro, NC, with a short commute.

Pay: $36.4K – $46K a year
