The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Director, Family Office Solutions to join our team in Houston, TX or Miami, FL. This senior advisor will manage a portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, serving as their trusted partner to address complex financial, estate, philanthropic, and investment needs. The Director will be responsible for retaining and growing client relationships through a structured, advice-driven service model, while identifying new opportunities to expand client engagements.
This role offers the opportunity to cultivate deep, long-term client relationships and to design, implement, and oversee customized wealth strategies that align with each family’s unique financial objectives and legacy goals.

The Position
Key Responsibilities

Manage a client base of existing and prospective UHNW clients, driving both retention and growth through a consistent service and sales model.

Cultivate and maintain deep, long-term relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to families with complex financial needs.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of each client’s family dynamics, financial objectives, and philanthropic priorities; summarize annually through a client letter.

Oversee the development and implementation of customized wealth management strategies for UHNW clients.

Develop tailored client meeting agendas with proactive, targeted advice, and establish relationship timelines to address short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

Review client relationships regularly to assess banking and investment needs; identify opportunities for enhancing services.

Collaborate with internal experts to design and deliver integrated client solutions; coordinate smooth onboarding and ongoing service delivery.

Structure and negotiate complex credit facilities and loans within authorized limits, ensuring credit quality.

Provide a full suite of financial services including wealth structuring, lending, banking, asset management, budgeting, insurance, charitable giving, wealth transfer, and tax planning.

Build relationships with internal colleagues, external partners, and centers of excellence to strengthen client delivery.

Leverage digital tools and solutions to enhance the client experience and streamline service delivery.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications & Competencies

Proven expertise in financial analysis and client servicing with UHNW families.

Experience in private or commercial lending and/or leasing.

Advanced knowledge of the banking industry, competitive landscape, and financing practices.

Strong knowledge of investments, trust, and wealth consulting to identify cross-selling opportunities.

Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and relationship management skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.

Demonstrated adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in a dynamic environment.

Ability to interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to enhance products, processes, and services.
