About the Job

  • AlTi is seeking a Vice President or Director to join the firm’s Family Office Services (FOS) Team to help expand the firm’s capacity to provide these services to new and existing client relationships.
  • This Family Office Advisor position will be responsible for the day-to-day support for all phases of services, excluding investments, for a billion-dollar multi-generational family with the opportunity to take on additional client responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ongoing oversight and coordination of all family office service deliverables
  • Daily interaction with high-touch and highly focused clients
  • Assumes overall review in the creation of budgets, managing cash flow, and supervision of special assets, including real property.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for family office clients and their external teams of CPAs, attorneys, brokers, property managers, personal assistants, etc.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new clients
  • Participate in business development and client meetings
  • Ensure all estate planning documents are current and work with trustees on all trust administration Establish connections to additional professionals when needed; such as travel, human resources, property managers, etc.
  • Coordinate annual review of all forms of insurance coverage, including life, property, auto, collections, and excess liability
  • Manage grants administration for private foundation and personal charitable giving
  • Identify and deliver end to end solutions for the special project/concierge needs
  • Coordinate with FOES accounting team to ensure proper ongoing asset tracking aside from investments and expense categorization/approvals
  • Present financial reports to clients after preparation by Client Accounting team
  • Coordinate lending process for new loans and refinances from initial quote to close and review payment structure
  • Provide full suite of tax coordination across all full FOS households and entities to ensure timely payments of all taxes owed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum ten years’ experience of working as an advisor to complex UHNW families at a financial institution, law firm, or ideally a family office
  • Knowledge of planning concepts including estate planning and personal financial planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills and experience dealing directly with clients
  • Client service focused
  • Collaborative work style, working well both independently and in partnership with others
  • Integrity and ability to maintain utmost discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills, prioritization, and analytical skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to problem solve in areas of estate planning, cash flow management and other financial matters
  • Ability to present various financial reports to clients and advisory teams.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities
  • Previous Family Office and/or Private Banking experience preferred
  • CPA, CTFA or JD a plus
  • Ability to travel and to work remotely as needed
