The Opportunity
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Wealth Advisor to join a collaborative and client-focused team. The Senior Wealth Advisor will serve as the first point of contact for clients, working closely with the Lead Advisor to deliver thoughtful, comprehensive financial advice and execution. This individual will play a key role in client strategy, portfolio oversight, financial planning, and mentoring junior team members, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class service across investment, tax, estate, and risk management disciplines.

The Position

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for client communications, ensuring responses are timely, thorough, and strategic in coordination with the Lead Advisor.

  • Review client portfolios and make recommendations in consultation with the team; proactively identify both strategic and tactical opportunities across investments and broader planning areas.

  • Prepare comprehensive client meeting materials; analyze client data and evaluate potential planning strategies.

  • Provide spreadsheet analysis for advanced financial topics such as tax loss harvesting, stock options, restricted stock, wealth transfer, and risk management strategies; maintain record-keeping related to these activities, including cost basis and portfolio data.

  • Review and approve reconciliations of historical cash flows by entity as well as forward-looking projections over a ten-year horizon.

  • Oversee, approve, and strategize around trades and portfolio rebalancing.

  • Attend and lead client meetings; own the execution of post-meeting follow-up actions in collaboration with Analysts.

  • Leverage internal and external resources to achieve client objectives in investment management, estate planning, tax planning, risk management, and general financial planning.

  • Train, mentor, and guide team members on complex planning strategies and service delivery.

  • Maintain all aspects of the Wealth Management Scorecard (WMS), ensuring content accuracy, timeliness, and periodic review.

  • Craft client meeting agendas, define deliverables, and collaborate with the Lead Advisor to refine client strategies and presentation formats.

  • Finalize wealth management deliverables, including the Richer Life Legacy Plan (RLLP), Family Wealth View, Cash Flow reports, and Annual Plans.

  • Ensure timely and accurate implementation of approved client strategies by coordinating across teams.

  • Present financial strategies and concepts in an organized, effective, and client-friendly manner; document and memorialize all client action items in the CRM.

  • Partner with the Associate Advisor to execute time-sensitive transactions such as trades, wire transfers, and journals, ensuring accuracy and completion within strict timeframes.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, family office, or financial advisory roles.

  • Strong knowledge of investment management, tax planning, estate planning, and risk management strategies.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, portfolio management software, and advanced spreadsheet analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead client meetings and present complex financial concepts in a clear, engaging manner.

  • Proven experience mentoring junior professionals and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills with high-net-worth families.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional designations (CFP, CFA, CPA, or similar) strongly preferred.
