The Opportunity
Venley Capital is offering a dynamic opportunity for a driven and entrepreneurial Capital Raiser to join the team in a remote, flexible capacity. This role is ideal for professionals with an existing network of HNWIs and family offices who are actively seeking to deploy capital into private market strategies. As a key contributor to the firm’s fundraising efforts, you will play a pivotal role in developing investor relationships and introducing differentiated investment products to aligned capital partners. The role offers autonomy, high earning potential, and the ability to work closely with a seasoned team across deal origination, structuring, and distribution.

The Position

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage your personal network of HNWIs, family offices, and institutional allocators to raise capital for venture capital and private credit investment opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with investors, understanding their preferences, return expectations, and portfolio construction needs.
  • Present investment strategies and product offerings in a compelling and transparent manner, tailored to investor profiles and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the investment and leadership teams to provide market feedback, improve investor communications, and ensure the alignment of deal structuring with investor demand.
  • Remain informed on key market developments across private capital markets to identify new relationship opportunities and strategically grow your investor base.
  • Track and manage pipeline activity, investor interactions, and follow-up communications to ensure consistency and responsiveness in investor engagement.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, private banking, or investment advisory roles within the private markets space.
  • Proven track record of successfully raising capital from HNWIs and/or family offices, particularly in venture capital, private equity, or private credit strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple investor relationships across the fundraising lifecycle.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with sophisticated investors and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting complex financial products to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and solutions-oriented with a deep passion for alternative investments and private markets.
