The Client
Our client is a leading financial services platform with a mandate to strengthen and expand the wealth management ecosystem in Qatar. With a focus on Family Offices and Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWIs), the organization plays a central role in ecosystem development, regulatory enablement, and the delivery of world-class client experiences. The Senior Associate – Wealth Management will support the strategic implementation of this mandate, working across internal teams, regulators, and external stakeholders to drive growth, innovation, and positioning of Qatar as a leading global hub for wealth management.

The Position
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the strategic roadmap to attract and onboard UHNWIs and Family Offices, aligning with the broader goal of building a world-class wealth management ecosystem.
- Assist in the execution of the Wealth Management strategy by identifying structural gaps, proposing enhancements, and supporting ecosystem development initiatives.
- Conduct market intelligence and ecosystem mapping to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including Legal, Licensing, Tax, Financial Services, IT, Client Affairs, and Strategy Office—to refine regulatory frameworks and optimize client onboarding processes.
- Coordinate with banks, asset managers, family office advisors, and industry associations to strengthen the ecosystem and promote best practices.
- Represent the organization at sector-specific forums and conferences to enhance thought leadership and strategic positioning.
- Provide advisory input on legal structures (e.g., Trusts, SPVs, Foundations, Single and Multi-Family Offices) to internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Contribute to the refinement of client journeys, ensuring seamless onboarding and superior client experiences for UHNWIs and family offices.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders, providing timely insights and analysis.
- Support departmental planning, budgeting, and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide sector-specific insights to enhance business development and strategic initiatives.
- Undertake ad hoc assignments and provide managerial support as directed by the Manager – Wealth.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in strategic partnerships, ecosystem development, or wealth management—ideally within governmental, semi-governmental, or financial services sectors.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, market development, and ecosystem building.
- Strong background in business development and account management within multicultural environments.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.
- Effective report writing and the ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
- Skilled in facilitation, stakeholder coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
