Responsibilities:

  • Hines Private Wealth Solutions is searching for an ambitious professional with a strong passion for client service who will grow market share across the family wealth distribution spectrum.
  • The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with complex multi-generational families, family offices, large RIAs, and RIA aggregators.
  • The successful candidate will partner cross-functionally with their institutional counterparts, and product strategy teams to drive business and expand Hines’ distribution capabilities across the defined client segment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build consultative relationships and grow market share with key centers of influence across family offices, large RIAs, RIA aggregators, and high-net-worth investors
  • Work in partnership with the Global Head of Private Wealth Solutions, broader PWS team and senior management to develop and maintain relationships with large RIAs, and family offices and other clients to drive sales and AUM growth across direct deals, SMAs, flagship offerings, and evergreen solutions
  • Effectively articulate the firm’s investment philosophy and suite of investment solutions across our real asset product suite
  • Lead investor meetings and presentations of strategy, investment philosophy and financial performance
  • Generate and maintain continuous touchpoints by email, phone, Zoom and in-person with clients to build rapport, trust, and connectivity; assist with client service inquiries and requests
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of financial markets, Hines product suite, capabilities and competitive landscape
  • Detailed oversight and maintenance of CRM system (Salesforce) capturing client interactions and meeting notes
  • Represent the firm at regional and national conferences
  • Provide management with assistance on sales reporting and data for overall business updates and planning
  • Execute on KPIs and OKRs – These will be developed by Hines PWS leadership and shared broadly with Hines senior management
  • Contribute to thought-leadership and content-generation initiatives

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s level education preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience working with Family Offices / RIAs focused on private assets or other alternative investment strategies.
  • Work at an alternative asset manager or Third-party placement firm a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 / 66 licensing
  • Excellent sales, communication, organizational and leadership skills, including strong aptitude for interfacing with sophisticated investors
  • Deep understanding of Family Wealth market, including knowledge of RIAs, Family office and other private wealth sub-segments, with the ability to participate and drive a coordinated sales process and collaborate with various internal business groups to achieve capital raising objectives
  • Successful track record in developing new and managing existing relationships within the Family Wealth segment.
  • Proficiency in financial services sales, alternative investments, relationship management, product and industry knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of macroeconomics, asset allocation, fixed income, equity, and alternatives markets
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize targets and handle a busy calendar of meetings
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace distractions
  • Travel is required as necessary

Pay: $200,000 – $275,000 a year
