The Project Management Pillar within DFO is a service-oriented function responsible for providing best-in-class process and project management capabilities to help the Dalio Family and the broader DFO achieve their diverse goals. This is done through project leadership, training, process optimization, and reporting across a wide variety of initiatives.

The Opportunity

The Senior Project Associate will report directly to the Head of the Project Management Pillar and will be responsible for leading multiple projects concurrently across a wide range of topics and priorities. This role involves translating a vision into actionable project plans, defining deliverables and timelines, measuring outcomes, reporting on progress, and playing an active role in execution—either directly or by managing internal/external resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple large, complex projects concurrently, managing scope, timeline, budget, deliverables, and risks.

  • Oversee internal and external resources to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.

  • Implement and maintain efficient project management tools, processes, and best practices across initiatives.

  • Provide senior stakeholders with project status updates, decision points, and timely escalation of issues or risks.

  • Partner with the Head of Project Management to develop the team’s processes, tools, and operating standards.

  • Design and deploy project management “machines”—templates, reporting tools, and methodologies to drive excellence.

  • Lead efforts in business process optimization across the organization.

  • Support, guide, and mentor analysts within the Project Management team.

  • Provide internal training on project management practices and tools.

  • Contribute to both operational and strategic reporting for the DFO.

  • Perform additional duties as required, adapting to the evolving priorities of the organization.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in project management, with proven success leading large initiatives and managing multiple medium-to-large projects simultaneously.

  • Strong ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

  • Proficient in project management software and productivity tools, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint.

  • Experience managing 2–4 medium-sized projects concurrently.

  • PMP certification preferred.

Compensation

An industry-competitive compensation package will be offered, including:

  • Salary range: $160,000 – $190,000 (inclusive of merit-based bonus, dependent on experience, education, and skillset)
