Job Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Wealth Manager to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing the financial assets of high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets and a proven ability to deliver exceptional client service.

Duties:

  • Develop and implement tailored financial plans for clients, including investment strategies and risk management
  • Provide ongoing portfolio management and monitoring to ensure alignment with client goals and objectives
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of client financial plans and portfolios
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment objectives
  • Utilize financial planning and accounting software, including Xero, to manage client accounts and generate financial reports
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports, including SOX, as required
  • Ensure all financial transactions and records are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations
  • Manage and maintain client financial records, including general ledger reconciliation
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new clients and expand existing relationships
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the financial services industry and maintain knowledge of relevant financial products and services
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance financial acumen and knowledge of financial services

Skills:

  • Strong financial acumen and experience in wealth management
  • Proven track record of success in asset management and financial planning
  • Proficiency in accounting and financial planning software, including Xero
  • Excellent budgeting and financial analysis skills
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services, including regulatory reporting requirements
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical clients
  • Strong sales and client service skills
  • Compliant with SOX and other relevant financial regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications, such as CFP or CFA, are an asset
  • Experience with general ledger reconciliation and financial reporting is required.

  • Estate planning concepts: 7 years (Required)
  • High-net-worth individuals or family offices: 7 years (Required)
  • Microsoft Office: 7 years (Required)
  • Excel: 7 years (Required)
  • Wealth management: 7 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CFP and/or CPA license (Required)

Pay: Up to $175,000.00 per year
