In response to the growing complexity of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families’ needs, the firm provides an integrated suite of services addressing regulatory advisory, tax planning, cross-border structuring, M&A tax, and pre-IPO deal support. The Family Office team operates as a core advisory and execution engine for bespoke wealth and legacy strategies.
The Opportunity
This role presents a unique opportunity to join one of India’s leading family office platforms. The Family Office Professional will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team based in Mumbai, working closely with UHNW families, Relationship Managers (RMs), internal stakeholders, and global external experts. The position requires strong technical acumen in taxation and regulation, with a problem-solving mindset and outstanding execution capabilities.
The role involves project ownership, end-to-end coordination with internal and external experts, and the delivery of client-specific advisory and structuring solutions across domestic and international jurisdictions. The Family Office Professional will also contribute to internal capability building and knowledge dissemination across the firm.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough research on tax and regulatory frameworks relevant to client mandates, including cross-border structuring, citizenship planning, inbound/outbound strategies, and international taxation.

Support transaction-related structuring, including mergers, acquisitions, and pre-IPO tax planning, by coordinating with legal, compliance, and tax teams.

Prepare well-reasoned presentations and client deliverables tailored to the client’s context and the firm’s advisory scope.

Liaise regularly with external advisors, including global consultants and tax specialists, ensuring seamless integration of expertise.

Support onboarding of new clients, including internal process adherence, data collection, scope tracking, and client engagement follow-up.

Facilitate the empanelment of new expert consultants, managing coordination, due diligence, and internal committee approvals.

Track ongoing client activities and mandates across multiple advisory workflows, ensuring timely follow-up and closure.

Respond to ad hoc queries from Relationship Managers and Investment Advisors, especially on taxation, structuring, and evolving regulations.

Deliver training sessions and knowledge-sharing presentations to internal advisors; act as an SME for family office-related tax and regulatory questions.

Monitor, analyze, and brief internal teams on major budget announcements, circulars, and tax law changes; proactively share implications with RMs.

Collaborate with internal tax, compliance, and legal teams to interpret evolving regulations and implement relevant strategies.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualifications & Experience

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification required.

Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in tax, regulatory structuring, and/or transaction advisory.

Demonstrated exposure to family office, UHNW clients, or private banking environments is preferred.
Skills & Attributes

Strong conceptual understanding of Indian and cross-border taxation, SEBI and RBI regulations, and private client structuring.

Effective communicator, with the ability to translate complex tax and legal matters into client-friendly insights.

Strong interpersonal skills; able to coordinate seamlessly across internal teams and external stakeholders.

Organizationally agile with an ability to manage multiple client mandates simultaneously with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.

Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to correlate laws and strategic objectives to deliver custom client solutions.

High emotional intelligence and service ethos; able to build credibility and trust with UHNW families and their representatives.

Familiarity with wealth structuring, M&A, private trust structures, international holding companies, or succession planning is advantageous.
