The Opportunity

The Chief Administrative Office (CAO) within Blackstone Private Wealth Solutions plays a critical role in advancing the firm’s global operations. The CAO drives organizational efficiency, oversees business administration and employee engagement, and leads special initiatives that support growth and innovation. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across all functional teams and levels of the organization, helping deliver world-class investment solutions to individual investors while building a high-performance and collaborative culture.

The Position

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Operational Leadership: Support and enhance global operations by working closely with functional teams to improve efficiency, scalability, and alignment with firm objectives.

  • Cultural Stewardship: Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture through thoughtfully designed programming and engagement initiatives.

  • Process & Governance: Develop and oversee robust administrative frameworks, including onboarding, data permissions, office planning, governance, and administrative support models.

  • Talent Development: Design and lead comprehensive training and professional development initiatives across functions to advance employee growth and excellence.

  • Strategic Projects: Lead and deliver cross-functional special projects aimed at business growth and innovation, collaborating with teams across Private Wealth and the broader Blackstone organization.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage effectively with employees at all levels, including executive leadership, to advance initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in wealth management or a related financial services environment.

  • Demonstrated record of academic achievement and professional accomplishment.

  • Strong business judgment, leadership presence, and professional maturity.

  • Open, collaborative, and positive mindset; proactive and flexible in approach.

  • “Can do” attitude with a diligent and conscientious work ethic; sense of urgency and accountability.

  • Composure under pressure; comfortable navigating ambiguity with confidence.

  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build credibility across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform strategic recommendations.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Expected annual base salary range: $185,000 – $200,000
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to candidate experience, skills, qualifications, and job location.
Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses and participation in firm benefit programs. For roles outside the US, compensation will follow local market practices.
