What is Velvet?

How do I sync my email with Velvet?
To connect your email to Velvet, go to the Settings tab, click on Integrations, and select Email. Click Connect, enter your credentials, and Velvet will begin syncing your email. This process may take a couple of minutes.
How can I add a company from my inbox to Velvet?
After syncing your email, Velvet automatically detects attachments and documents related to a company. To add a company, simply scroll through your inbox, select a company, and add it with a single click. Velvet will populate relevant information automatically.
How do I manage knowledge and company data in Velvet?
When you open a company, you’ll land on the Notes Dashboard, which displays key company details pulled from your data and the web. You can also create and view analyses directly from this dashboard. Collaborate in real time with your team by tagging members and working together on analyses. You can also ask the analyst questions to generate insights.
How do I use Velvet’s chat feature for research?
Use Velvet’s chat feature to interact with your analyst, ask follow-up questions, and generate responses based on your data. You can also use web search capabilities to get the latest insights from the web. Save your chat conversations into an analysis for easy integration into reports.
